In the SCA I am known as Katheryn Hebenstreiz. My main hobby is to recreate historical costumes and accessories. My focus lies on German renaissance but I do dabble in Viking clothing and 14:th century clothing. I am a member of the Order of the Pelican and the Order of the Laurel.
I am born in Sweden but life has taken me to Finland where I live in a house in the countryside that I fill with books and fabrics and yarn.
Hello, Im trying to find someone who can embroider 18th and 19th century clothing my wife to be makes. She is having trouble finding someone to work on a waist coat from the civil war period here in the us. Can you help?

Jag använder grundmönster som jag har och som jag anpassar till den typ av klänning som jag vill göra. Varje klänning anpassas på kroppen. Om man vill ha någonstans att börja så rekommenderar jag Reconstructing History:s mönster. Hon har gjort både till landsknektsklänningar och till den typ som ofta kallas Cranach (efter konstnären).
